FIRST OFF, I WOULD LIKE TO THANK GOD ALMIGHTY FOR GIVING EVERYBODY SO MUCH... AND ME SO LITTLE.

I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU - I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU, AND I HATE YOUR GUTS.

I HOPE ALL THE BAD THINGS IN LIFE HAPPEN TO YOU, AND NOBODY ELSE BUT YOU.

AND AS I SIP MY SODA THAT I'M SURE SOMEBODY SPIT IN, I JUST WOULD LIKE TO SAY TO ALL OF YOU - KISS MY ASS, YOU ROTTEN MOTHERf**kERS.

NOW, IF YOU'LL EXCUSE ME, I'M GONNA GO HOME AND PUT SOME WATER IN CLEARY'S MAMA'S DISH.

GOOD EVENING.

Panthers will be fringe top 4 next year and until the find a quality hooker they won't be anywhere near as dominant as these past 3 seasons.

If Nathan were to miss 10 games next year on-top of Api being gone. I could see them being fringe top 8 even.

I don't see them being close to premiership favourites. But if they had a full strength roster at finals they would be a chance with the likes of Edwards, Cleary, Yeo and JFH. Probably a bit like Storm some years just kind of cruised along as a fringe top 4 side and then the big game players just made them a chance even if they weren't close to dominant.

Reckon you’re being a little too pessimistic there. Kikau & Api are big losses, no doubt, but other teams have issues as well.

Cronulla/Cowboys- not sold on these two, both had an easy draw

Eels - losing key players as well

Storm - losing key forwards, including Brandon Smith - although they get back Welch & Pep

Souths & Roosters look primed for big years

I think we have a very good shot at top 4

Since the salary cap doesn’t work anymore to even things up the panthers should be forced to play their nsw cup side until origin is over then first grade can take over that would even things out

or barring that a Nathan Cleary vodoo doll and people take turns sticking needles in the shoulder

Cleary has the potential to be one of the greatest rugby league half backs ever if he continues injury free

Actually shows salary cap is working . Instead of clubs focusing on buying established players from other clubs , panthers have produced their own and to hand it to Gould who set up the pathways , they have a plan in place to build a production line. The sad part will be clubs looking at their successes will start pilfering all their lower graders rather than fixing up their own pathways .

I blame the older nrl administration making the state cup 2nd tier and bringing in 30 man squads . Ever since that period there has been a big gap in clubs and bottom clubs these days are in a bigger mess than ever.

Nonsense. I dont know a single person who watched it at home. People watched it in groups.

A high level of hate for one team doesn't lead to low interest either, as you want to see them lose.

tbf it does help if you are based in a region that has the highest participation rates in the world. But good on Panthers for finally waking up to that fact and investing in better elite development programs to take advantage of it. Its certainly paying off for them, and other clubs.
