Permanent Thursday Night footy

Is 10 pm too late for you?
People shop on Thursdays until 9pm

A 10pm finish, or later on a Thursday night (the game never starts on time so it is not always done and dusted by 10pm at all) will see many people getting home at 11pm or later. If, like me, you have to leave for work by 7am the next day, that does not leave a lot of time for important things like sleep.

How many Thursday night games would you go to in a season ?
The majority of them would be viewed from the lounge or like me watched it from bed.
Thurs shits on Monday that's for sure.

So much for getting families to the game. Even kids watching at home aren't going to get past half time

Exactly, they talk about getting the young kids involved but not many parents will let their primary aged kids stay up to 10 on a school night.

After DLS finishes, I wonder if m the late KO which allows a 7pm KO in Qld will be reverted to 7:45pm? Only 20 minutes earlier but it means people leaving the stadium by 9:30 and kids may get to watch a whole game

Does this mean Brisbane vs whoever will be exclusive to Friday night now?

You'd be more inclined to take a kid to a thurs night game over a Monday night game
In theory they'd have Fri Sat nights only
But tv owns it

Thursday kicks off at 8, Mondays at 6, and you reckon Thursdays are more kid-friendly? Turn it up!

Yes I would
Monday nights are not a good night to go out.
Thursday is better
My kid can handle one late night per season.

Monday game is 7 tonight and every Monday night

Thursday is a great Monday replacement, having them both running in the same season is a terrible move though.
