Personal Mafia Statistics (Template Updated!)

This deserves it's own thread I think.

Following on from the discussion at the end of the FFBRL Wiki Thread?, I'm working on an Excel document that will allow you to enter your own mafia statistics as you go.

The statistics included currently are the ones found on this page http://ffb-mafia.wikia.com/wiki/Apey (Found a few errors while re-doing this in Excel).

There are some double-ups in each table, but I think I'd rather have more tables than one that is too complicated.

Besides that, a few additional things I have added
- Sort ability
- Streak counter for alignment, result, status (thanks google!)

If these don't work on the downloaded file then I can just show you how to do it yourself.

Should be ready to go tonight some time.

All the formulas are pretty much done Drew.

Basically the only thing left is to make it look pretty and tidy up a few of the formulas (i.e fixing them to return N/A where applicable instead of trying to divide by 0).

I was obviously going to post how to use it when it was done :lol:

All you will need to enter is:

1. Enter Game Played Number (1, 2, 3...)
2. Enter Alignment (Town, Mafia, Cult, Independent, Other*)
3. Enter Result (Winner, Loser)
4. Enter Status (Alive, Dead)

The entries for each column must be one of the options in the brackets (obviously minus the * for Other).

This is for completed games. Don't include Diablo Mafia. :lol:

*Other, for alignments that don't really fit the other descriptions.

Essentially a miscellaneous non-town faction.

The two I included in other:
- Stark Faction in original GoT Mafia. Not a mafia since had no kill. Not a cult, not independent, not town, etc.
- My faction in Drew's JM Mafia Superstars. 1 recruit, no kill, not independent, not town, etc.

Just a case of going back and doing it when I can be bothered :lol: Didn't think to do it as I was going along of course...

Sounds like a really good tool. I was having nightmares thinking about how to collate all my data. I am hopeless with this type of thing. Anything beyond a basic word document is a bit hi tech for me.

One question which is only really relevant to me I think. My result in the first game of thrones was classed as runner up. Has there been any other games with that result? I know, I know, if I wasnt a f**king idiot it could have been a win..

Only one as Mafia too which I was surprised by. Go the Victorians!

What you end as. Otherwise it doesn't make sense for the result. i.e recruited by a cult, town wins, you don't win.

I suppose it doesn't really matter on a personal level. But it seems silly to me to write a loss up as a cult recruit as a loss as a town member.

I think I will record it as a loss. I didnt think it had popped up in any other games. We havent had any draws yet either which is a surprise. A few games could have gone that way.

Rather than try and explain the "How to" explicitly, I included my own completed one to help show you how to use it. The Character/Faction columns aren't required for the statistics.

ps. for Bazzi/whall, the table from wikia should copy and paste straight into the input section, that's how I got mine in before I did anything else, you just need to make sure you have 100% stuck to the conventions I used for each column (i.e Winner, Loser, Town, Mafia, Independent, Cult, Alive, Dead, etc) so that the statistics are correct.

You will get a bunch of dividing by 0s errors on the statistics sheet before you add anything, that's because I didn't bother fixing them for statistics relating to games played... for reasons which should be obvious.

Cheers Apey, that's a massive help.

I'll get my page done and dusted when I get home, and I'll start working on a few other players, unless they all want to do their own pages. Or I'll start collating other data, like for each mafia game.
