Probably? you’ll be there …making the most this year of seeing NRL games in Perth … Cook won’t be offering much for the games next time

Im torn, the Rl fan wants to be there as its a rare chance to see a game live, the other side of me thats been campaigning for an NRL club for a long time now wants to make a statement that we are sick of the BS and being taken for an atm by the NRL. Many here feel the same.

So all the "best interests of the game" arguments are lost. Perth people wanting a team purely out of self interest with no concerns for the NRL or the game.

Yeh Id be much happier if Cook took the millions he gives the NRL and gives it to grassroots here. It would be a better outcome for WA.

The fans wouldn't get such a dumb idea all on their own.
Perth Red has 6600 followers on fb that are taking his lead!
He's responsible for lost revenue to the game as a result and particularly a lost opportunity for Western Australia to showcase to everyone back East that the game is well supported in Perth and deserves a team.

Perth Reds actions could have a devastating impact on the game in Western Australia .

They tried to link up with Singleton and the Jets but that was blocked too. The amount of money PVL has left on the table is astonishing.
