Whose nose has he put out of joint that we know so for ? CEO’s of companies that wouldn’t invest in the game regardless of who has the role…most of them in that article don’t even mention him …just that they have no interest in RL
I dont think you understand just how strong the old boys western suburbs set is in Perth.

Shame then that RL will miss out on that crowd …. Fortunately it’s not their target market …. We call it the private school market in Sydney, and RL struggles in that space too…comparatively anyway

Bit of a concern that the fears of East coasters trying to set up and run a Perth team could come back to bite may already be eventuating. It does seem that the choice for CEO isnt going to make start up any easier. Hopefully he's a wonderkid at building a sports business and the noses he's put out of place doesnt scupper things!

Next up is brand, board, etc. Hopefully the ARLC get that right!
Its a bit arrogant to think a small l, isolated city on the west coast that is not a Rugby League city has all the business and rugby league acumen needed to setup without any help from the East Coast that has lived and breathed it for 100 plus years.

You are happy to play in our comp and use our players then sit quietly while we give you a leg up because Perth can't do this alone.

Good luck to him but it gives off all those vibes of the Melbourne Rebels first season when they brought back the Wallaby coach from the golden era despite he hadn’t coached in 10 years. Did bring some publicity but no results.

Good appointment, more of an ambassador role than strictly coach.

Also f**king LOL at Brad Arthur, didn't he basically quit his current job on the basis of getting this gig?

Yet again, PNG just appears to be swimming in concrete at the moment.
