I'm looking forward to the prime ministers XIII against a team that the prime minister is funding.

As for Perth. Might have something to do with wanting a licence fee, which they didn't believe was worth it by the time the NRL decided that they would expand the comp.

While PNG didn't pay any licence fee, only needed the Aus Fed Govt to fund the hell out of it for diplomacy reasons.

So which team has strongest backing PNG or Perth?!

Well I would have to say Perth. The NRL owns it. While if the Aus Govt decides at the end of 10yrs it needs to stand up by itself, I'm not sure the money would be there. Maybe some mining company decides to prop it up for the short term, but that only works until they decide the mine is closing.

Lol, you're arguing yourself over something you said I said but didn't. I'll leave you too it.
no, you said perth failed before & are alluding to it might fail again.

i said seqld has had 2 clubs also fail so should we assume titans dolphins are going to fail based on your comments and position stance for perth.

you cant answer it because you have have no logic that can answer it. youve essentially made a statement for one area (perth) that is equal to another area (seqld) but because you care for the other area (seqld) you're ignoring the fact that your statement of failure (perth) holds true to both areas (perth & seqld) and therefore blows your point up.. lol

you just didnt think things through, made a dimwitted statement and now trying to back away.

Where's the money for Perth other than NRL?!

AFL Origin will fizzle out again because there is little appetite for it in Victoria. Even when it was at its peak in the 70s and 80s, all the interest was from the underdogs in WA and SA. They will do it again next year, but reckon that will be it, as they will lengthen the season when Tassie come in 2028. Like NFL, no other country plays so the is no real need for representative football. It is a novelty, not a passion.
TBH that's not much different to Rugby League. Origin is only successful because of QLDs inferiority complex.

The problem AFL has is it's got 3 viable states so they can't have a yearly series like we do and they tried to make up with it with the ridiculous Allies concept. They did WA v VIC this year but I think SA v VIC has more legs in it. The SA/VIC relationship is much more similar to QLD/NSW than WA/VIC is in that South Australians hate Victorians and when it comes to sport it's all a conspiracy etc.

I said Perth. I said nothing about Brisbane. I didn't say anything about Glebe or Annadale either. You want to put words into my mouth. Seems like you're having a good time arguing against what you think I said tho. Keep going if you enjoy it.

Did shop close down because they were doing great business?! Apparently Perth didn't. News just closed them down.
neither did original brisbane 2 and gold coast. lol

Yeah, they shutdown. Like Perth Reds
and south queensland crushers and gold coast chargers.....

thats the point. i mentioned them and i asked YOU to give a statement that if perth failed once and you allude that as reason theyll fail again then why cant YOU apply the same logic to phins and titans since both those previous renditions of brisbane and gold coast equally failed. ya keep dancing around it lol

again, i didnt want ya for being such a dimwit but didnt take many posts from you to display yourself as soon.

Pippen still believing perth have no chance lol he spent years telling us we weren’t ever getting a team again, must be really grating on him :)

I predicted Perth happening only with Bears involvement. You said Perth Bears would be worst possible outcome.
