last years spend on grassroots was still $12mill less than in 2019, adjusted for inflation thats about the price of one hotel a year.
Good the NRL is building assets and alternate revenue streams, long overdue, but hopefully we will see grassroots funding next year (at least in two states) with the doubling of the NSW and QRL grants at an all time high. Vlad and Abdo are money men so at least they have been able to deliver much healthier looking books.
And Vlad gets paid via another entity (racing) who engages the same customers (bookies).

There's no scope there to do a deal for league that results in racing getting more revenue and then more money for him as ceo at all...

The conflict of interest is so overwhelming but hey we don't care...

So racing covers his high wages and we get the benefit of all his experience for Buckleys

Wow thanks racing nsw for allowing your ceo to run our game

Nswrl and qrl funding is included in my figures.
The dolphins $2mill is a furphy, that is in fact what they are spending on running reserve grade and elite jnr sides, it isnt going to grassroots.
Source?

Also PNG grassroots funding is about to kick-in. Grassroots funding has never been so high.

It appears to be the other way round.
Nope it's actually true, png need more time to set up infrastructure to go with their team, they've been promised a certain timeline, and when Perth gets its shìt together, and agrees to the outlandish demands set upon them, they'll be parachuted in as 18th for the new broadcast deal
