PETITION: Axe The Tax, It affects THE DRAGONS

I have set up a petition to axe the proposed the New South Wales Poker Machine Tax, which may threaten the viability of 7 New South Wales and is the reason why the salary cap can't be increased.

I will take the petition to New South Wales Government House in May when I go there on a school excursion and give a hard copy to my local MP, David Campbell to forward to Michael Egan. Alternatively if I see Michael Egan I will hand it too him and give him a mouth full of what I think of the tax.

IT AFFECTS THE DRAGONS BECAUSE THE SALARY CAP MAY NOT BE LIFTED IF THE POKIE TAX GOES AHEAD AND ST GEORGE AND ILLAWARRA LEAGUES WILL MORE THAN LIKELY NOT BE ABLE TO GIVE THE CURRENT AMOUNTS OF FUNDING THAT IT CURRENTLY GIVES TO THE DRAGONS.

Regardless of who it affects, it affects the game overall and that is the greatest concern!

Giving someone a gobful will not help though, stating the facts will!

The hardest hit will be the juniors. St George Illawarra rely heavily on their junior base and is something to be proud of.

If this tax comes in that will change as junior club rely heavily on funding from clubs and that will change as clubs will be unable to give current amounts of funding to juniors.
