altho rabs is a champ you can tell he doesnt watch much footy, or hes going senile ala murray walker, because he continually makes basic mistakes like mixing up players etc

im so sick of people baggin Rabs just cause he keeps mixing up players, the fact is every commentator makes those mistakes its pretty simple really. Im not sayin you were bagging him Savage, other people have bagged him in the past about mixing up players. Rabs is the best league commentator Ive ever seen.

Anyways, back to Gould I was annoyed by his commetry yesterday, everytime Penrith scored, he always say something bout the Warriors how they are missing tackles and letting soft tries. And everytime the Warriors scored he'd say something good about em, saying that was a good try and they are making good ground. There are two teams Gus.

Now I dont know what hes gonna be like this Sunday night, cause Im not looking forward to the commentary, especially when he and the other mob are trying to take over Rabs when theres a big play.

Maybe hell always say something good about the Roosters like he normally does. :roll:

Look here's the deal with Gus. He has a love for both Penrith and Easts. Its been that way for some time and he has connections with both clubs.

He was comparitively subdued when talking about the upcoming Grand Final. I reckon its like all his Xmasses have come at once... and he is a little lost for words.

umm bitter about losing finch........ didnt you see the sign at Canberra Stadium when they played the roosters..... in case you missed it i pretty sure it said "Thanks for leaving finch - Look at us now.."

We really do have top thank you guys, since he has left its been nothing but a sharp increase of victorys, it worked out for both clubs, he playing pretty good out at the roosters.......

i was bagging him :lol: ... i know all commentators make mistakes like this but he is undoubtedly the worst. he obviously only watches the #9 games at most.

Gould didnt win them anything..... the players on the team won it, those players in penrith at that stage were like a family, they played for each other, possible the greatest TEAM i have seen...... they could have had a 2 year old coaching them and still would have won......

Most of them went through their junior years together and knew each other inside out, Gould didnt win them diddly sqat
