Is there another player who gets away with not being penalised for holding on in a tackle?

Cam smith is a given

Maloney took Lyon out on no fewer than 4 kick chases last night. Deliberately changed his line to take Lyon out of the play for the ball. I don't even like Manly, but they were obvious.

Maloney was immense in defence tonight. Phoney? No.

Yep, incredible defense and it was the same last week too. His kicking has been top notch too in both games.

He'll continue to be targetd though so there's more in store.

It's up to the refs to pick him up for it, not his problem.

 yeah right...

How many penalties do you give away on your line before the refs think its a ploy? I prefer RL but that's something Union gets right...continually infringe in the defense of your line, they call it a professional foul & you pay for it. Yes, they're great defensively but is part of that because they get to reset their line from doing the above? Been doing it all year & other teams have called on it on occasion but not to the same extent.

And how many times does it have to happen before Manly realizes they aren't going to get through when your opposition gets to reset their defensive line every penalty? Take a kick the second time & you both get to restart...

Manly could've stopped that happening and would've got points on the board, especially if it happened a few times during the game - not the ideal way but it would've changed the game a bit and both sides playing defensively in this game it could've worked...

Is that the same Isaas Luke who admitted trying to break his own cousin's leg in the NZ v England match?
