Not a bad result against them down there. Yes that field goal would have been nice however a draw will do. Something tells me we've turned a corner and the season looks promising.
Spot on Greg! :) I have a feeling of better things to come after drawing againts a team like St George/Illawarra in one of their strongholds :D
No doubt we'll roll the Magpies up next week then its back to Henson! Sky's the limit champ! :D

Well we beat a second placed undeafeted Balmain last week, and drew with a second placed Saints side this weekend. Not bad considering many players are out injured. I even heard that SA did not play in the Saints game. If so he has been one of best try scorers thus far this season, and his absence must have been a great loss, yet the guys still managed the draw against a good saints side. Very promising stuff.

Newtown were definitely the best side even though St/Ill ending up scoring 1 more try. Newtown lead 24-16 with 20 mins to go and 24-20 with 2 mins to go. St/Ill were always playing catch up.

Jamie Soward and Josh Lewis lead us around the park well and Aidan Kirk had a very good game at fullback. Man of the Match was Glen Hall, he tore in and made a few busts and alot of metres.

Thanks B43. Thought HALLY would lift after being dropped again from first grade. So if we scored four trys we must have also kicked 4 goals, unless one was a penaly etc, who was the goal scorer ( LEWIS or SOWARD ) and who scored our four trys.
