Pink Floyd - Pulse DVD - more delays

This long awaited release, slated for 16th January 2006, appears to have now been stalled. Contacted Sanity (no idea, possibly March) and JB Hi-Fi (now 6th February). UK site, Brain Damage, usually on the ball with these things, understands that it could be March/April but there is currently no firm date on when the DVD is going to released. Amazon has it down for 1 January 2010! It is understood that this is just a default date.

Looks like I'll just have to keep my VCR for a little longer so that I can continue playing my VHS copy.

This has been the most dragged on release I've ever seen. People who thought Rugby League 2 was delayed, it's got nothing on the Pulse DVD.

Looks like 6th June 2006 is the new release date. There were some problems with the additional material from the Live 8 concerts. More wrangling between Gilmour and Waters. I can imagine that Waters would see some irony in agreeing on a release date of 06-06-06, given that he thinks of Gilmour as the Antichrist.

In the meantime, I'll keep playing the 'Live in Pompei' DVD.

This is seriously ridiculous. I thought it would finally be released... but nup, too good to be true. Don't expect it to be out in June either.
