although i had heard that he may know more about his neck as early as September, in fact that may have been in that article u posted or in another one i raed somehwere????

I know us Matters don't like going back to the GF in 2001 but PJ Marsh played one of if not his best game of his life that day. He single handely nearly got us back into the game. Unfortunately the damage had already been done by Newcastle targetting JT in defence, but once PJ come on for JT we were clearly the better side and PJ drove us around the park like a man possessed.

As we all know PJ went on to play for the Warriors in 2002 and had a great season getting the reward of back to back grand finals. Unfortunately for PJ he was on the end of another losing GF side.

I so want him to come home to the Eels. Lets all prey that he comes home and we can give him that deserved grand final win that has side stepped him to date!!

He dislikes Brian Smith, and rumours from the Warriors HQ have him in serious negiotations with the Wests Tigers, now that Darren Senter has announced his retirement.

The Eels have signed 4 high profile players recently and the worry is out west that there will be no room left for the the like of PJ.

Moodie is quiting & and as for PJ it would seem pretty stupid to negotiate with a player who will probably never play the game again. I hope his operation is a success like everyone, but who knows? I doubt Lyon will come, we are poor. Hodgson was ours to begin with! Richards well he will be injured again soon enough. So there ya go you can have your backline back now!

also there was an incident in 01 between Marsh and Smith where Marsh had apparently said something derogatory to or about Sterling when he visited the dressing room, and Smith pulled him aside and gave him a dressing down for it.
