Sullivan wasn't retired as far as I aware. He was cut by the Parramatta club. He says as much himself, his dream was to make it back to the footy field. As much as some might see it as a mistake, I was proud of him for getting that opportunity and saddened it didn't work out for him. It was incredible the odds he defeated to play against Penrith this year, good on him.

With PJ it depends on his neck, and regardless of where he plays whether this rumour eventuates (because not even us loyal Warrior fans truly trust the club after all thats happened this year) we wish all the best for him. He is an absolute champ off the field. If he does end up at Parra (damn you Warriors if thats ever the case), then I sincerely hope he performs outstanding because he's a dedicated young man with a great attitude who deserves success.

The last two players 'under contract', ie Shannon Hegarty and Adam Dykes both said publicly that they were happy with their present clubs, that they were not going anywhere, it was just rumours etc etc. You know now what happened with them. The same will happen with PJ Marsh. You are in denial because he is a top shelf player. I'm sorry, but he is our boy. Let it go.

Speculative at best. Could also be that Stacey wanted to stay in his hometown and be a 1 club man. Could also be his children are in school now in NZ, why move them to a new country when you have a confirmed future?

Also in that situation Mick Watson said if Stacey found a deal elsewhere he could go. He put the writing on the wall a few days before Ali Lauitiiti was offered a release. There's no reason for Mick Watson to go back on his word that PJ would be a Warrior again in 2005.

The last news we have all heard is Tony Peters on channel 10 that he may be returning pending a medical clearnace. I just thought a new topic needed to be started for people to post updates etc because I for one am excited about him returning. PJ Marsh will have similar surgery that Tallis had. If Tallis can return from such an injury so can Marsh.

Yep Hurriflatch true there, the difference is though most (if not all?) those players were off contract (I may be wrong). PJ has a contract until the end of '05 with the Warriors and was back in New Zealand as of last week at Ericsson. I'd be flabbogasted if he's released for any other reason aside from a forced retirement which he won't know until November I believe considering how loyal and faithful they've been with PJ's contract over 18 months.

We shall see. If they do release him and he is fit I'd ALMOST trade my Warriors jersey for an Eels jersey. ALMOST.

Contracts don't mean Jack these days, Just Look at that fairy Jamie Lyon who wants to be around Uncy Cleal at Manly. If the player has no more desire to Play for your club then I believe its best to release them.

Maybe PJ and His wife want to come back to Australia.

Could also be PJ wants to raise his new born in Girraween? But you're right Iafeta, it's all speculation....

Something went down big-time at Warriors this year, and so many players wanted (and got) out. PJ hasn't been ruled fit through all that, so he wasn't forced to make or consider the decision. So far, medicals pending....

And I was glad that Danny Sullivan made it back on the NRL park this year too, after being out for so long. That kind of thing makes you feel warm inside, no matter what clubs are involved.
