Player eligiblity for PL finals

Does anyone know the set of rules that say who is and isn't allowed to play in the Premier League finals.

2 example: If Norths make the finals,

a) Would David Peachey be allowed to play, because could have played the last 6 games straight for Norths. Or would he not be allowed to play because he would have played more NRL games than Premier League this year.

b) Would Fetuli Talanoa be allowed to play? He would have played more Premier League than NRL over the 2007 season, but he hasn't been in the Premier League team for the last 8 or so weeks of the regular season.

I am pretty sure that you either have to play -

1) More games in PL for the year

or

2) Play your last five games of the season in PL.

Therefore if Peachey plays out the year for norths he will be eligible and if Talanoa also has the figures as you suggest then he can play.

Last year with Sharks Prems, there was the same thing with Cam Ciraldo. He was in Prems at the end of the year, but only played the last four games for them. Due to suspension, injury etc he didn't have the required number of PL games to qualify. In some ways its a stupid rule but at least it stops clubs loading there PL side.
