Still a while away from the silly season, but I'm wondering If we are going to go after Carl Webb. We must be able to spend the Cap void taken up by Butts retirement by now. Pritchard from Penrith could be a good buy. We need another solid secondrower. Maybee even Tookey as a bargin Prop buy?

i think Nth Qld need another prop/backrower, in my opinion they have one of the best backlines in the comp with Bowen(s), Sing, Hannay, Bowman, Jensen
with Kevin Campion retiring i think a player such as Carl Webb, Mark Tookey, Robert Tanielu, Frank Pritchard would be a handy purchuse.

Mathew Head in the halves would be another good buy

I've always thought we've lacked a 5/8 and a couple of back-up props/second rowers. Matthew Head or Orford would be a great buy and we could shove Fien to 5/8. I'd be chasing Carl Webb (it looks like he'll never get another shot in Brisbane) and Mark Ridell (he's been given the OK to test the waters) along with another prop to back up Rauhihi and co.

If Fien can't play half, what price on him being able to play 5/8? Where would you play Riddell, it seems big money to be paying out for a player similar in style to McWilliams?

Lance Hohaia a good quality five eighth or halfback. Also I've been told that Marcus Perenara (a halfback) is doing good things for the Warriors in the Bartercard Cup, he would be a good buy.

Props; Paul Stringer (Souths), John Skandalis (Wests), I like these two.

Second Rowers- Ruben Wiki (Raiders), Awen Guttenbiel (Warriors), Ben Kennedy (Knights), Justin Smith (Souths).

Why not throw all your money at Johns who still remains off contract and has said his next contract is for him and not the club :idea:
