From a Souths perspective i got high hopes on Eddie Paea and Pettybourne doing well, both have had a taste of first grade and hopefully this comp should make em better players...

Masada was the best player in Flegg this year. If he plays alot of 20's next year, which i hope he doesnt, because he should be in First Grade. He will be a leading contender.

Simon Williams is a kid from Inverell who has just finished his second season at the Knights.
He scored 14 tries in 9 games of Ball.
He then went back to the local comp and was promoted to firstgrade where Brian Smith saw him standing up and scoring a double against 30 year old men and devoted one of his weekly articles in the Newcastle Herald to him.
He is basically a 17 year old brick sh*thouse.
Here he is in Flegg beating three defenders to score.

There has been a lot of talk about Cessnock junior prop Brendan Hlad - but two years younger - already bigger and stronger - and with the best defensive technique i've seen in Flegg is Cessnock prop Joel 'Ginga' Edwards.
He obviously needs to work on his fitness and has been doing 10-15 spells on the field this year - but he drops guys like a ton of bricks in defence with his trademark shoulder in the breadbasket and he is a quality ball runner.
He was the best prop at the Knights this year and a good off season could see him getting a firstgrade run IMO.

big hit in defence

after seeing the jkiwis and jkangaroos, sonny fai if he plays this grade will clean up. the had 3 people on him all day and did some of the best offloads you would see on the run. made many metres also. Kingi Akaloa for the titans was scary today, killed some people in tackles and carved up with sonny down the left.
