would really like to know how fitzy,reynolds,patterson,gibbs,lima and covell went.

Robbie Farah: great to see him playing again. He has got to be our 9. Great passer and his kicking adds an extra dimension. For mine, he was the real positive out of the game.

Fitzy: did OK, few nice quick breaks, but his kicking game is a problem.
Reynolds: thought he did reasonably, very involved.
Patteson: cant see him making it.
Gibbs: went well.
Lima: backed up from Premier League but cant see him making the grade.
Covell: too slow on the wing, safe enough, Hodgson did the kicking - so what is Covell’s role?

i wasn't aware farah was back from injury,so that is great news.

covell may now have a bigger role than you think now that richards is out.
did he get any time on the wing or was he only used in the backrow?

Yes Farah is great news. He is such a talent.
Covell only played on the wing as far as I can recall.
John Wilson also played and with Dene Halatau we have more options in the centres. Elford played strongly. Can one of these centres play on the wing?

Laffranchi and Skando look like certs but what other props were used and did any of them impress enough to make the team against the Sharks?

Skando was the best prop for us out there, Boof was quiet I thought, made a cpl handling errors. heighno was on for a little while, went OK. Graham I thought was our best forward, running straight & hard and would easily have got the $$$ for most metres gained, maybe pipped by Skando.
Farah half, went OK without doing anything spectacular, passing looked very good though his kicks were avge.
Fitzy looked real good in patches but kicking poor....Elford cant count to six.
Benji had a shocker.....Craigie givin him a gobful all nite the fat tubba lard...maybe he got the better of him, put Benji off, he made a few mistakes but had limited oppotunities. Mears looked pretty good too. Hodgson got limited opportunities but I sensed a confidence in his play, he just looked like he'd never been away and I think he could have a good season.

Graham was good.O Neill and even Sattler had unhappy nights.

Reynolds looks very classy close to the line.

Covells stint in the back row was for 1/4 of a trial and everyone thinks thats where he is going to end up. Why make one of our few wingers and play him in the back row where we have heaps of blokes anyway.

You could put Elford at lock..he played there for a couple of games for Penrith last year and used his size well.

I'll we'll stick with Satts at Lock and keep Elford size and speed for the centers.
