Very hard to choose this week. We had brilliant patches and poor patches. Finch weas good at times, as were Tautai, Burt, Hindy, and Fui.

3- Cayless, +1 for his first 1 pointer.
2- Mateo
1- Tautai- looked real dangerous taking it up, unlucky for mistake leading to Naiqama's try, but made amends.

other mentions Wagon, Cordoba once again improves every week. And finally Luke Burt for his match winner.

3. Cayless - Set the platform early with strong running
2. Mateo - Very dangerous every time he ran the ball, put high pressure on their defence
3. Tauti - Strong kick returns and dummy half running

I have thought that in the past, Cayless wasn't as consistant as he could have been. I didn't ever think he was a bad player. From 2005 he has become even better than he was when he was the Kiwi Captain. Hindy may be the heart and soul, but Cayless is definately the Leader.

Cayless worked like a packhorse in the opening 20 minutes and really laid the platform. A real captains knock....

Cayless - oustanding game from the captain.

Mateo - The guy just continues to get better.

TT - Thought he made some excellent hit ups and looked dangerous every time he got some space. Made a few errors but this kid looks the goods.

Hayne,Hindy and Keating also very good.

3 Points to Joel Reddy - for having to defend inside of Eric Grothe and then not punching Grothe in the head for continually coming in and leaving Joel to tackle 3 players
Honestly the bloke has played 93 or so FG games - is he ever going to get it??????

2 Points for Nate Cayless - for his FG and refraining from walking up to Tim Smith and waking him up and not punching Eric Grothe in the head.

1 Point for Gildley and Buderus - Played great and didnt deserve to be on a losing side.

3 - Mateo - proved a real handful and seemingly could have slipped the ball at any opportunity
2 - Cayless - terrific Captain's knock - still shaking my head over his F/G
1 - Tautai - ran strong, played well

Special mention to Keating - getting better every game both in attack and defence
