f**k there is hardly any big names or top quality available this year. I'd rather keep our powder dry for 2020/2021 then go hard out for any of those names.

Because so many players timed their last contract with the new TV deal we've got a bit of a lull with decent players being available.

The two names who stand out for me are Rapana and TPJ who we have no chance of getting.

We went after Joe Ofahengue last time so wonder if SK sees him as an option again.

Let's start with out own backyard here..

NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS
Blake Ayshford, Jackson Frei, Solomone Kata, Karl Lawton, Issac Luke, Agnatius Paasi, Ligi Sao, Jazz Tevaga

Ones I can see staying would be Kata, Paasi and probably Jezz. on Frei - I have no idea

Can see Sao going (to get more game time?), Luke (didn't he say he was keen to go to Aus?) and Lawton if he doesn't get improved game time. I can't really see Ayshford sticking around beyong this year either.

Ones I wouldn't mind bringing in - Alex Glenn (Quick, versatile, has NZ roots), Mitch Rein (If Luke goes), Pending how CHT and Keighran go, TMM is on that list... Other than that, possibly another big body or two

Meh, I think we are seriously short an attacking second rower, and perhaps a prop. Luke can go IMO, but we'll need Lawton. Mulaney looks promising coming through.

Nikora would be a good get in the second row, and if Ese'ese did come I think we'd be pretty set in the forwards. Fingers crossed we sort our halves internally this year, save us a bit of coin.

We need speed, mobility and line breaking ability on the edge.

We also need to get a quality winger/centre/both so we can turf Kata and our second rowers on the wing nonsense.

I'd re-sign Lawton and let Luke go after this season.

Roache/Lawton can be our hookers with Lawton capable of filling in the backline so we don't have to waste a bench spot.

Ese'ese would be good and we could move on from Lisone finally.

In all likelihood we re-sign Jazz and Kata, keep Maumalo on the wing and continue to play Lisone because this time he may have finally learnt his lesson.

Valentine Holmes and Trent Merrin are said to be returning to the NRL. I wonder if that O'Sullivan some of you guys praise so highly can get us one of those guys.

I’d be interested in Merrin. Won’t happen though. He makes good yards and can pop a really good offload. Would be a point of difference in our backrow. Josh A from the Tigers would also provide that.

We need props, centres and maybe a half.

Not alot of that list that overly appeals.
