PLAYERS WANTED


MOOREBANK RAMS EST 1976: MOOREBANK RAMS " A" GRADE WERE THE CANTERBURY BANKSTOWN BENCHMARK TEAM OF THE LATE 70s AND EARLY 80s WINNING A NUMBER OF PREMIERSHIPS. THE LATE 80s AND 90s WERE LEAN YEARS FOR THE RAMS.

SINCE 2003 THE RAMS HAVE MADE THE SEMIS ON FOUR OCCASIONS AND ARE LOOKING GOOD FOR 2008. WE CURRENTLY ARE SEEKING A NUMBER OF PLAYERS ( PARTICULARLY FORWARDS). WE HAVE ENTERED OUR TEAM IN THE KIAMA 9s KNOCKOUT CARNIVAL IN MARCH AND STILL NEED PLAYERS FOR THIS EVENT.

HERE AT MOOREBANK WE HAVE THE "NO TRAIN NO PLAY" POLICY, SO IF YOUR FAIR DINKUM ABOUT YOUR FOOTBALL, MOOREBANK RAMS IS THE PLACE TO BE.


OUR END OF SEASON TRIP IS DOWN THE SOUTH COAST IN LATE SEPTEMBER AND IN 2009 WE ARE GOING TO N.Z. FOR OUR END OF SEASON TRIP AND POSSIBLY A GAME OVER THERE.

St George Dragons JRLFC
Season 2008
St George Dragons JRLFC will start training for the 2008 season on Tuesday, February 12, 2008. This is at our home ground, Clemton Park, Moorefields Rd, Kingsgrove. Training for all teams is held every Tuesday and Thursday; it generally starts at 5pm for the junior sides (6's to 13's) and at 6pm for the senior sides (14's and up). These times are dependant on the volunteer coaching staff, and will be confirmed once training is underway.
New players need only turn up in a t-shirt and shorts, and runners can be worn initially.
Dragons will be having trial games every Sunday in March, excluding Easter Sunday; these games give coaches the opportunity to finalise their teams, and for new players to get "a feel" for the game. The CBD junior rugby league season starts on Saturday, April 5, and junior sides play each Saturday, while the senior sides play on Sunday.
We will be registering our players during the last 2 weeks of March; for this, 2 passport size photos and an original birth certificate or current passport will be required at this time. If you are a player coming to us from another club, in or out of the Canterbury Bankstown district, you'll need a clearance from that club before Dragons can register you - please let the Dragons Secretary know so the necessary paperwork can be filled out before our planned registration date. More information on registration will be handed out as this time approaches.
