Im still going to stick with my preseason prediction and say Pistons vs Rockets. But who knows this is one of the most even looking playoff series that ive seen in a while.

Im at a loss with what has gone wrong with the Mavs in the first round so far, they looked like one of the most dangerous teams coming into the playoffs. So wouldn't know what Mark Cuban should have to look at when trying to find out why his team is down 2-0 against the Rockets thus far in the series.

I think it's a bit rich to say that something has 'gone wrong' with the Mavs! Give credit to the Rockets. They have been one of the most unacknowledged teams in the league so far this year, thanks primarily to a slow start (6-11, losing to some easy teams...) - without that start, their record has been the same as the Mavs this year.

It's just a high quality series - but JVG is clearly a better coach than Avery Johnson - and Van Gundy has only had teams that didn't advance past the first round of the playoffs twice (in 8 tries I think). Bottom line is that defence rules supreme in the playoffs, and there aren't many better defensive teams than the Houston Rockets - then throw in TMac and his desire to prove himself to the world, and you can spell "world of hurt" for the Mavericks.

Interesting to see what happens in todays game!

Phoenix v Chicago I'd love it to be. Phoenix have the points and the abilkity to win away but not sure about there defensive end. But then again a couple of years ago in the NRL people said exactly the same about Penrith.

Go the Suns

Suns have the best record but will lose in 6 to the east champion and that will be detroit

i thought i was looking good when the Rockets took a 2 game lead....bloody refs and their calls on Yao hurt them a bit.
sonics suprised me greatly...5 games nice work
Nuggets have been shown up big time by the spurs. I was way wrong there.

The rest i got pretty much right

Nuggets were looking good, but they don't have the big player that can take over in crunch time like the Spurs do.

Houston choked a bit.

Never underestimate the Sonics :D
