They mentioned during the ODI series v Poms, that this match will be televised on Foxsports

Inglis to captain the Aust XI

Kicks of tomorrow 2pm (Wednesday)

Looking forward to this match @TheParraboy. A group of our best next gen prospects, redemption for two past Test batsmen and a pair of veteran Qland quicks whose form had to be rewarded. Plus Marcus Harris who seems undroppable.
Yes both televised and live streamed.

Reckon the Windies may be still feeling a little shellshocked by the caning they took at the hands of a group of club/second tier rookies in their first warm up. Well this PMX1 lineup is 50% stronger comprising a mixture of seasoned pros and some of the most promising cricketers Australia has produced in a decade.

Absolutely some of our best young talent in decades:
Hanscombe
Agar
Sketetee
Abbott
Harris
Neser
Renshaw
Hunt, Inglis, Hardie. Tim Ward shud be there instead of Harris. I did say a mixture of players. All those above are a result of the current (and correct) CA selection policy of picking form players.

Solid start by our openers.
Who is of the notion that you dont bat first in a pinkie match. I reckon if you bat after dusk it should be a matter of bad luck or good tactics by the opposition but not your own choice.

Some good news following the Renshaw dismissal, with two relatively new guys at the crease there are still 22 overs to settle in before the second new ball is due. As we have seen in the past the new pinkie tends to play tricks in the evening conditions.
