poor ox - Joey Johns throws his hat in the ring for origin

i dont know who ox pissed off in a past life, but he seems cursed to never wear a blues jumper unless he takes out joey johns in a car park with a lead pipe - al la tonya harding.

i know origin is a long way off, but if joey stays fit, he will definetly get the blues #7 jumper, which means that ox will have a better chance of lasting the season fit, but if i was him i would see this as a kick in the guts yet again. knowing that his chances of a rep jumper are fading fast might have an effect on his form.

Good news to be honest. Orford's game goes to sh*t whenever anyone mentions the word "Origin".

If someone even mentions in passing something like "hey matty, a good game today and you'll be one step closer to that Origin jersey!" it's more than enough to make him kick the ball out on the full three times.
