Watched him against the Cowboys tonight.
Certainly has the goods to be a rep player and might leave the Drags with Bailey,Ryles,Kite & Sims in front of him.

I'm not so keen on Riddell anymore.
He's workrate is not up to it.
Very hot and cold with his runs.

I'd Think again about giving Kite big money also.

I think we should concentrate our efforts on Justin Poore.

Other youngsters to catch the eye tonight in other games were;

Jack Afamasaga from Parramatta in the second row.
Only 18 but showed tremendous power and courage in taking up the ball.
A real livewire.

Michael Ennis lock forward for Newcastle.
Looked like a real smart tough player.

I think we should target positions we need to fill before buying young talent for the sake of it.

Wing, five eighth and hooker are probably priorities. Prop is one for depth, and we definitely don't need anymore backrowers. A goalkicker would be handy too.

We're losing Beattie this year and Stevo and Nuts are in their thirties.
We need to have plenty of options to pick from when these guys run their race.
There are no guarantees of Green & Newton coming through.

Also I think you'll find a few of our secondrowers will be released this year.
And I think Lomu's future may well be prop as also Galloways future.
So some backrowers may well be needed.
