Ok, so we have Stewart and Williams unavailable until round 5.

Robertson is a good winger, but is definitely not a fullback. Our options are to chuck Suniula back there, but he is a former center. So not him. I think we should throw Hopoate into the deep end. He is young, he is talented and he is the future.
That leaves Suniula and Bani to fight over the remaining wing spot. Is Bani at full fitness? I didnt really take much notice of out wingers last night, honestly, I was blind drunk before kickoff. How did the perform?

Robbo was fine at fullback, no way Hopoate is ready for NRL. Suniula needs to work on his defense so many times lastn ight he came in when lyon had it covered.

Bani to fullback, Robbo back on the wing where he is the safest player in the NRL. Suniula stays on the other wing until Tony or David Williams comes back.

As much as Robbo probably thinks he is a fullback, playing out of position on the wing. That (wing) is his best position, at least in the Manly team.

So I agree with you, play Bani at fullback. He was out for most of last year anyway, so having him there would be less disruptive than moving Robbo from his usual spot.

It's a pitty the Wolfman is injured. I'd like to see how he would go at fullback. I've seen Robbo play there a number of times and frankly, haven't been blown away. Dave Williams though, in my opinion, has potential fullback written all over him.

yeah i'd go bani to fullback, robbo back to the wing.

i reckon lyon would do better than robbo at fullback, safe hands, great defence and isn't too slow! watmough in centres could work?

I get scared every time Robertson has to fill in at fullback.

Same here Dutchy, same here.

Here's hoping they get the referees out this week at training to and take the Manly side through a few contact sessions.

My team would be:

Robbo

Bani
Lyon
Matai
T-Rex if he is back and if not neumum, the other winger there last week should never see first grade again for this year at least.

Bailey
Orford

Perry
Ballin
King
Watmough
Kite
Stewart

Hall
Cuthbo
Rodney

Against a good warriors pack I think we need to start with our big boppers on the park. They will start strong but finish weakly as they tire in the second half imo, so containing them in the opening exchanges will be vital.

What makes you think they will tire any quicker than the Sea Eagles in the second half?

If recent years are any indication, the Manly forwards are the fittest in the competition. I tend to agree with Tommax` assessment. That calves` blood must be good stuff.
