The positive today was I was able to have a nice walk in the park with my 2 year old instead of watching the last 15 minutes of the game.

And of course we are one game closer to McGregor getting fired. I hope

I suppose it is a positive that it's getting easier and easier to watch these performances and not get hurt.

Much longer and 2020 is a write off before it even starts, much longer than that and I am done with league for a good while.

Positive was it wasn't on free to air so I didn't have to watch it. Instead I listened to the radio call. That was bad enough.

Funny you say that because I’m finding this season that I’m not nearly as bitter about our losses. It’s not because I think the losses are leading to change its more the false hope has now given way to ‘whatever, I can’t change it so no point worrying about it’.

Well Mary is 52 this year. Even if he has a job for life, as it seems, at 33 I should at least be able to outlive him..

I feel the same.
My wife has said to me at times why are you not “yelling” at the tv. My reply is normally along the lines of they have worn me down or I’m just waiting for the game to change momentum.

Last year we conceded 38 points following the Terrigal trip. This year we only let in 34 points after the soul searching getaway. Things are looking up.

Hey at least we didn't sign Des Hasler when he was available! He might have immediately transformed the Eagles into a strong unit again and might get them into grand finals again (like he did with the Dogs and Eagles in the past) but look at the Dogs now! Their salary cap is screwed and they are three whole places below us on the ladder! Thank god we our salary cap is safe as we sit here in 13th place forever

Some more positivity: we don't have to worry about watching them play and dish up garbage this weekend again.
There's a certain stench( Mary) that has turned me right off them at the moment.
