positives from the warriors game

i thought it was a crucial game for the sharks

the warriors had come off a good tough win against parra and the sharks still without their best playmakers despite a narrow in against a depleted newcastle

i am not all that concerned with the sloppy play given the conditions

the team particulairly the forwards defended well

the return of beattie to form bodes well as our size against the top teams has been found out

we have a goalkicker

on todays form the return of peachey and noddy will bring a side competetive enough to challenge any team

we have won as many games as the much vaunted benhmarks

still a ways to go but i have a feeling the sharks will grab a finals position and given last years result and the poor recruitment that would be an excelent result and one that would make raper a success

if we make the finals last nights tough win will be the reason

Defence was very good at times against a big side. Stopped a view of the bull dozers in their tracks.

A good win under the circumstances. Particularly when we tried to outmuscle the MONSTERS. Me? I woulda kept on turning them around. At least Kent did from time to time.

if we win 2 of those matches we well have a chance of the eight. Technically we only have to win onw but im not sure that that will do. A win v saints will do good as it will put us ahead of them.

I knew from the first Tackle of the game under the warriors posts that we has turned up to play. Without Noddy and Peach this team is growing into a side that has confidence in there own ability to win without these two.
As Miller's said when Peach and Noddy return we will give alot of the top sides a run for there money.
One other thing I think giving Nuts the Captaincy has made a huge difference to his game.
