Pretty sure Hoffman is playing on the left for the Broncos so I'd leave him there. With Matai (and Beale) out I'd go Winterstein left centre. Right centre I'd go SKD; don't really rate him but I think, being a specialist right centre he has an adge over Glenn. Will pick Nightingale but part of me wants to blood RTS in this game. Backline:

1. Kevin Locke
2. Jason Nightingale
3. SKD
4. Winterstein
5. Hoffman
6. Kieran Foran
7. Shaun Johnson

Any thoughts on how you'd play Foran/Johnson? I've always thought of Foran as more a straight running short side player, whereas Johnson more likes linking with his 5/8th on the big open side plays.

I agree with your pack, other than McKendry - guy hasn't been good enough last 12 months. I think I'd put Glenn on the bench so that he can be used in a back-row rotation and also cover an injury out wide.

I Think McKendry has been one of the best front rowers this season so far. He is carrying the Penrith team and doing more work then he probably should be.

Why is Boyd considered a walk up start? Surely Uate, Hayne or J.Morris are all more capable and offer some X-Factor.

Hayne would probably be included over morris and boyd is a winger for a team that has won 7 series in a row and plays on the wing for qld against Uate.

SBW picked for the kiwi side.Dont let him devalue the kiwi jumper.Surely the selectors can pick 17 players more worthy to wear the kiwi jumper than the code/club jumper SBW.

Why is Hodges a automatic starter when Jennings and Morris are playing better than him

Kiwis will keep the SBW-SKD combo on the right side

Hodges has been just as good as Morris and Jennings has been a flop at rep level, looks great at club level, not so much higher than that.

Why ryan hoffman? lol

no, rofl.

Is inu gonna be clear in time? Obvious choice, would even consider him at fullback, debuted for nz there and killed it against oz as a whipper snapper.

And whats the deal with mateo, is his allegiance elsewhere? feel like ive seen him in a black jumper.

Hodges is always gonna get an automatic start, can't imagine what he'd have to do to lose that spot. I dread to think, probably have to glass an official after chicken winging a fan.
