Not sure the exact situation in terms of contracts but who would we like out of hannant, McGuire, kennendy. Paper talk is Bennett might look to overload kennendy, and possibly McGuire, would we want these 2 at the club?

No i would go all out for Tim Brown, he is a good front rower on the up and we could get him at a good price now.

McGuire for sure. He runs hard and has mongrel. Didn't he just sign a new contract? What is this brown fellow like? Wasn't there a Nathan brown who was from the tigers being mentioned? Yeah McGuire would be unreal.

Would definitely take McGuire. Kennedy also has it in him to be a good prop despite a difficult year this year.

Klemmer signed a big deal with the Dogs last year. I think it was close to a million over 3 years. In Wikipeadia he is listed as being on 330k. Big dollars for a young guy. Imaging what Graham, Tolman, Kasiano, etc are on.

Grubby is just a matter of perspective in some cases isn't it? Names that come to mind that push the limits of the rules and coming be considered grubby IMO include Cameron Smith, Beau Scott, Jezza, but when they are playing for your team, you generally look at their indiscretions with rose coloured glasses. McGuire IMO is an ideal recruit for us. We need props and we need props with a bit of mongrel. If he wants out of Brisbane we should be chasing.

Kasiano - big & skilful, but injury prone & can miss big chunks of a season ( a month at a time to recover because of his size )

Klemmer - could become the dominant prop in the NRL but has always had problems with injuries

McGuire - on track to become the best prop in the game & at the crossroads

Browne - unsure as haven't seen enough him due to limited minutes with Bulldogs, has the right size & mobility though

Hannant - will stay with Broncos

Kennedy - not convinced about him yet, definitely has potential but clearly behind McGuire

My only doubt on McGuire (and I'm ready to stand corrected if wrong) but he looked small to me against the Warriors. I think he'd be a good signing, but the advantage Kasiano, say, brings to our pack is size. And it's definitely one of the things we need.

You are right ,he stands about 183 cm but he has a ton of aggression ,he's effective for the Broncos.

McGuire isnt that big, but he is definitely all about the size of the fight in the dog. He's a hard man.

In saying that, I'd gladly welcome big Sam on board if he was a chance too...

I wouldn't sign McGuire at all, he will be massively over paid after a few footy show legends have built him up to be something great, and he isn't even that good. We need size and intimidation and McGuire is only small, look Manu Vatuvei was going to punch his head off if it wasn't for Thaiday. We need to be looking at Big props not Similar to the ones we have already got, he is Mike Cooper like and I would rather keep him.

Kasiano
Matulino
Tamou
Kane Evans
even Fonua Blake.

Our wish list is great, but in reality we will probably re sign Prior back from the scum and another washed up 2nd rate forward to go with the Harrisons ,AhMau and Hunt who we currently put up with.

Any good props in the English league. Surely there would be some good ones going around wanting to head to the NRL. The Poms are starting to come good now. Not many have come and failed recently.

Another 2 Mike Cooper's would be good with a full offseason under t heir belts. And they would be much cheaper than the NRL guys.

Until the coach is sorted, hard to see anybody rushing forth to sign with us... I wonder how Tariq Sims is feeling these days...
