Alvaro will alway be a substandard front rower. Not really physical enough or big enough to make an impact. Gets dominated in tackles. He’s attitude is awesome but physically he can’t bend the line at all.
I know this upsets some on here but the guy is an absolute plodder.

I am sorry, he doesn't bend the line at all and offers nothing in attack, other then carting it up with little affect. He looks like his jogging on the spot half the time.

Yes he can defend but if we want to go to the next level players like Alvaro, Terepo, Moeroa etc need to go. They are not doing enough for us.

Of course not. If you've seen my comments on sociopolitical issues you'd know I f**king hate how mainstream all this left wing shit has become. Unfortunately all the right wing shit is now also coming back into the mainstream. It's like every shit idea is now popular enough for the big parties to campaign on.

So I still vote Liberal, but I worry about the direction the party is heading. I miss Turnbull.

Alvaro needs to be exported to the Super League simple.

Slowest play the ball in the NRL, has never put a hit on anyone, and runs like a 15 year old donkey at Harold Park.
No other NRL team would have Alvaro as a starter but ba never drops him.

I genuinely think we need an RUOK thread in this joint. Deadset after every loss every player needs to be shipped off and there's nothing but misery and wrist slitting.

Mid table team loses to other mid table team. SEPPUKU!

Fair enough mate, but talking about Parra atm is depressing. Especially after we re-signed BA for two more years.
Yeah. It's hard to reconcile what is happening with the team over the logic that Gronk, Bazal and Pou etc used (that I agree with BTW) for reasons to keep him.

I was definitely concerned about the easy yardage up the middle and the quick play the balls. Not sure why but so many times we had the one marker and only two in the tackle.

It's a regular problem. At least 1 guy in the tackle gets himself into a shit position and is scattered around/behind the ruck unable to get into marker. It is 100% a wrestle technique problem

We don’t wrestle. The good thing compared to week before though, we stemmed the bleeding after being slaughtered to start game

Is there a reason Kidwell wasn’t with the Storm when we picked him up? I know he was briefly the Kiwi coach and an assistant with the Tigers but the fact he wasn’t with the Storm should probably tell us plenty.......our defence has not improved under him at all.
He was a panic signing.

Agreed, the wrestle is the issue and has been for years. We can never stem the flow and roll them on there back's, hence why the quick play the balls and they roll up field. We get ripped from marker so much it's alarming.
