Posttraumatic Amnesia, often referred to as "PTA", is a condition in which the person with a brain injury is unable to store or retrieve new information. They operate in an eternal "now"; a frame of memory that may only range from a few minutes to a few hours, beyond which they remember nothing since their injury. This is not to be confused with Retrograde Amnesia (difficulty with retrieval of information that was acquired prior to the brain injury), or Psychogenic Amnesia (a condition in which memory loss is attributed to a psychiatric condition or to an attempt by the mind to deal with an extremely stressful event by repressing the memory of it.)

Now i've heard it all.

So there you are, there is the reason for the 2 week adjournment.

What about the rest of them, they said it had credibility. I do not care what they think but it amazes me that they get paid to comment on Rugby League.

I've said it before, Melbourne should be fined for being so stupid.........if only! AS far as im concerned Melbourne havent handled this at all well and the judiciary has handled it even worse, credebility lost in my opinion.

What I don't understand, is that someone with amnesia still knows what they are doing at the time they are doing it, right??

So just because he doesn't remember doing it, it shouldn't matter. The video evidence is there that proves that he did it, so whether he remembers it or not should be irrelevant.

As long as he knew what he was doing when he did it, it shouldn't matter whether he couldn't remember it even 1 second later. And we all know he knew what he was doing because he had to pick the right man... somthing which he had no problem in doing.

He should be gone for a year.

:evil: the thing that gets me is that the 'doctor' that claimed that williams had pta HAD NOT even examined him!!! he was diagnosing via tv footage, and said that williams MAY have it!
the storm did not hand in the evidence in wrioting but rather allowed dr gibbs to give his evidence via phone causing the delay as they researched its validity.
what im happy about is that when asked if williams could play, the answer was no, and when further questioned as to what would happen IF he got off completely, the storm were told by woods that this was not likely!
if he gets off but...
