One positive is getting BennyV to see the light at the end of the tunnel and admit his lord and savior, Gareth Widdop, doesn't deserve to be rated highly. No such luck for Old Timer. I suspect he will be rocking back and forth and mumbling about how Marshall is to blame for Widdop's useless for some years yet.

What are you talking about Sigurd, Marshall will be getting the blame next season if Widdop stuffs up in 2017. They will say because Marshall played in 2016, Widdopp lost confidence. Or because Marshall was in the vacinity of Kograh or Woolongong during the game, Widdop got distracted.

I really feel sorry for whichever half takes the reins next season if Widdop is around. He will cop it delux if they are losing and Widdop will be getting the praises if they are winning.

As I posted several times you read very little and comprehend less and less.

I have posted many times about my abject disappointment in Widdop's performances this year so your efforts to gode are futile.

On the subject of how we rate players you have asked several times about this one or that one v Widdop.

Your question is quite absurd and highly flawed as you are comparing halves against a 5/8.

So in effect IMO what should ask is one of the following questions.

a) If any of the halves previously mentioned played half at St George this year instead of Benji would Widdop have gone better?
or
b) If Benji had of played 5/8 instead of Widdop would we have gone better?

In relation to answers to the correct questions
a) The answer is obviously yes as I rate all of them better halves than Benji.
b) Not sure as it would probably depend on the half chosen to play with him and also the fact Benji hasn't played 5/8 for 2-3 years and he was playing so poorly in that position at the Tigers they were happy to see him go to Rugby where he did anything else but excel.

Now I believe that should clear it up for you quite nicely.

You have already started??? I understand the desire to get "warmed up", so to speak but there is really no need. If Widdop is the 5/8 for the majority of next season, there are going to be far more losses than wins. You will have ample time to practice passing the buck then. No need to get warmed up now. You will be exhausted before the season even begins. You will be letting your messiah down badly in that case.

The thread is POSTIVIES for 2017 so back on track every body !!!!

Surely seeing the best crop of juniors to come through for a decade ! Applaud the club for trying to tie up as many as possible.
