Nothing really went there why in the first half.....but if they can not win this game, against a very average team that will not make the eight and looks like they wont have a dummy half for the whole second half, then they might as well give 2011 a big fat miss.....

this game is reminding me of that eels v panthers game in 09 neither team can tackle the winner will be the one lucky enough to score last

What a joke.........Moi Moi in the bin. Cechin is a disgrace.

Neither team deserves 2 point from this.

We are nothing without McGuire.

Terrible - we lose the plot when everything goes against us. We should have been 12-0 or 10-0 up. LosingMcGuire was crucial.

Big questions need to be asked - Souffs ae rubbish, we should never surrender like that.

I will be interested to see what team is picked for next week and what sort of character they come out with, because if they dont show a performance like Penrith showed last week then it will be a long long long season.....

Some of the decisions made and the attitude displayed by some key players in the team tonight has a lot to be desired.

Im sure the coach is a bit lost for options with some players/positions though it would seem, but the decision to run that right side defence against Taylor and Inglis and co is a coaching disgrace....

Myeh.....one of those games. Bounce of the ball, ref's calls etc. Certainly the Eels need to lift. The team is on a downer ATM, but I see some promising signs. A lot will happen between here and Round 12, ( the round that will determine for me the likely Eels outcome for 2011).

Only problem is there's no one to replace them with.
What worries the most is that most of Parras problems are things that just can't be fixed with the current roster/top 25 and even worse can't be fixed in the short term.

I said it before...But there really was nothing that could be salvaged from the past 2 shockers aside from a clear and utter lack of class.

Yeah true. We do have players in our side that wouldn't be playing first grade at other clubs... and really aren't NRL quality players anymore. Not much that can be done about it. Just frustrating for us fans.

The Shark's entire backline over the past 4 years has been horrible and the possibly the worst I've witnessed since following the footy in the mid 90's. Ours is a lot worse sadly.

Dead set I can't even muster up the energy to defend anyone tonight...Just absolutely piss poor in every facet of play.

Im too frustrated to be able to make some majorly constructive comments tonight, but can someone tell me how a team who's game plan is based around "safety first" can some how come up with 18 handling errors???

I dont have a problem with the safety first approach, but we need more options to put us in a position to score more tries. The safety first game plan falls down if you make much more than 5 errors in a game....

I think it comes down to the frustration of not building on attacking oppotunities, We didn't play safety first tonight though, the guys through the ball around, not ad lib style, but they went for attacking plays.

I think we will get alot more frustrated if we continue to set our game plan around Robson and Mortimer.

So our 17 players missed a total of 23 tackles in the match and our 4 right side defenders missed 12 between them....if there arent changes they're alone there has to be some questions asked surely
