Premier League and Lower Grades.

For all us country folk, that bleed bue and gold, and don't get to see the lower grades play every week, like you Parra locals, I would like to ask you guys for a favour.

Is it possible that we could get a brief report each week on our Premier League and even the lower grades.

The Official Site is lucky to post the scores by the middle of the week in Premier League, and we get nothing on the lower grades.

I would really like to know who is playing well in Premier League, and the other grades, because I am an Eels fanatic, and I can't get enough.

Can we keep this thread going all season, and keep us country guys up to date with all the scores and form players each week.

I'm sure that there are plenty of people, that don't live in Sydney, who would also like you guys to help us out.

I know it will take some time and effort, but perhaps you could share it around.

Well to kick things off last week @ Campbelltown the Harold Matthews and SG Ball seasons started.

They only go for about 2 months so with it starting 2 weeks before the NRL season starts by the time it finishes the NRL will only be up to about round 6.

Anyway the Matthews team beat Wests 64-4 Jaryd Hayne who is a fullback that in Matthews anyway looks like a start scored 2 tries.

The SG Ball the Eels lost 12-24 (from memory). No players really stood out but Nathan Armit plays in that grade and had a decent game including tkaing goalkicking duties.
