With Newtown getting some Cronulla players back they should be stronger than last week (which was an exceptional performance). St George Illawarra are a strong side though and in upsetting Manly-Warringah they showed that their 6th spot on the table could be deceiving.

In the other game, Canberra won't be counting their chickens. They just got over the line against the Jets and will be facing a Manly side that will be hungry to make up for last week's loss to the Saints. The Eagles may be bolstered by the return of some NRL players but I'm not sure this will be enough. On their day Canberra are very strong. They will also remember that Manly thrashed Canberra in the capital a fortnight ago.

Newtown beat the Dragons 31 to 22. They play Parramatta next week to make the grand final.

The Jets were amazing but it will take a lot to stop Parra - the benchmark of the VB Premier League.

Considering the likes of Petersen, Cannings, Delaney, Reddy, J.Williams, Muckert, H.Perenara, O'Dwyer and depending on 1st grade even Peek or Vella will be turning out in reggies for the Eels next week they should win

but games are never won on paper.
