Presentation Day 2003.

I totally enjoyed the 2002 presentation night at the Petersham RSL club at the end of the footy season that year.

Last year I was also looking forward to the 2003 night. However found out that tickets were not on sale for supporters.

I understand that the night is THE PLAYERS night, however in a small club like Newtown it is good to have the supporters ( Which are fewer ) involved.

It is also a good opportunity to give something back to Petersham RSL who have been good honest supporters of the Bluebags, and put on a superb function at the end of 2002.

It would be good if this tradition could continue at the completion of following seasons.

Apparently BOWDEN put the last function on at the Ritz Hurstville, which is also a sponsor however it would be good to include the members of the club again next season.

2 True, very good points, the Ritz hotel offered to pay for the night and given the small size of the room they put it on for a limited number, while it was not perfect it saved the club considerable money in hosting the nights. Petersham and also their new club @Newtown will be having a number of post game events next season of which all will be welcome to join in.

It is hard for the club but when a sponsor makes an offer as the Ritz did it is hard to turn it down.

Fair enough mate, I can see that would be the case.

I just enjoyed the night in 2002.

Can't wait for season 2004, bring it on.
