Prince of Parra - Prince Paul

If Fitzy was the Empror of Parra, Then Paul Osborne would definately be the Prince. I can't believe what he has done in the space of a few weeks.

Not just player signings...... It's the vibe he brings. The passion for Parra.

Dare I say, Parra might be regaining some long lost culture, Some Pride.

yeah - not a prince, he's proving way better than that in just a few weeks ... he's above an emporer

Paul is on 2ky

2 very signafacant things he revealed..

1) there are still 2 positions left to fill in the lower end of the market, so they're still talking to players

2) he's very confident that deal will be made to extend Hayne's contract very quickly..

the only thing that concerns me there is not Hayne, but Beavis getting in his ear.

The Tahu deal can only make us look more attractive for Jarryd to stay though......

We know that one's of those lower market contracts might be snapped up soon.

for a team with salary cap problems they've shuffled things around well :sarcasm:

how can they be thinking about Thurston for 2011, doesn't give much incentive for our half next year.

are you serious?

If we can find the money, why would we NOT think about him?

We should be looking at getting the best possible players to our club.

Ive worshipped Paul ever since he won me two cases of beer bet on the 1994 Grand Final when he ripped the Dogs apart in the 1st 10 minutes.

Parra have never said they had cap problems, that came from the media..we always had at the very least 250K to spend before T's signing we may now have room for 1 or 2 more lower end signings..not much has changed.

When I was at the Parra coaching clinic on Tuesday he was the first person I saw walking over to the stadium, if he is turning up to things like this( I know he has a lot of kids) then I am starting to like him even more. It is a great start for him after only a few weeks, lets hope these positive things continue for our club, we sure have a lot of years to make up for!!:thumb
