Watta great show it was while it lasted. T-Bag was a legend....

My favourite line of the entire series was probably by T-Bag, when they were digging, he said "I dunno about y'all, but it's getting a little too dark in here for me to dig" as he death glared C-Note... can't find it on youtube though unfortunately....

I thought season one was good but once they got out it all went downhill really quickly. Gave up around midway through season two.

Yeah it was a great show. My flatmate at the time got me into it. I only watched seasons one and two (I think). Cheers for reminding me about it, might pop out and buy the DVDs.

Season 1 was awesome
Season 2 was slipping
Season 3 & 4 were like days of our lives.

Would have preferred it's legacy stopped after season 1. Season 1 however was one of my favourite seasons in any tv show I've seen.

Agreed re: Season 1. It was tops. Season 2 onwards, not so much. Well I can't comment on anything after mid Season 2 because I flicked it.

Season 1 was fantastic, season 2 was good but suffered because they were building up to season 3. I've got no doubt that season 2 would've been better had they ended it right there.

Season 3 & 4 became very contrived very quickly, but I thought Mahone's character kept things decent as his development was interesting to watch.

i watched every episode and loved it. only just realised the other week there was a movie-length episode which was released after michael's death. didnt get to see it until 2years after the show finished as it was released straight to dvd haha shame.

off-topic. but the show went in a very similar path to Lost. everyone stopped watching after the 1st season. what happened in the end of that?

Originally was supposed to be a 12 episode series.

The first season was just pure awesome. I keep waiting for something as exciting to return to tv.

Ok, season 1, as we've all said, no doubt was the best.

But I thought season 3 got off to a great start, I had really high hopes for it, but unfortunately after 4 or 5 episodes it started to go to shit....

I really enjoyed the first 3 seasons
Season 1 was amazing TV, season 2 was just ok but i really enjoyed all of season 3. Not as good as season 1 obviously but it was damn good

i ended up watching through to the end of season 4 for closure but it was ordinary at the death

T-bag was definitely the best character.

Great for first 2 season as mentioned.

Loved Heywire when he was in IT. Also loved Schofield's cell mate, what was his name again?

im in the "only watched first and a bit of second season" crowd. the first season was excellent TV. everything went bad for me the moment they crossed that wall, though.

It got so contrived during season two. For me, the jump the shark moment was when they're sitting on the train. They're supposed to be fugitives but they make absolutely no attempt whatsoever to hide their identities. I realise that there is a suspension of disbelief required for a lot of television but it just got to the point where the writers got so f**king lazy.

Then there was the whole thing with T-Bag and the hand being reattached.

Oz was a much better show.

I watched the whole thing. Season 1 was obviously awesome, the rest of the seasons weren’t as good but they never were going to be.

The thing that really messed it up was the ending. A major part of the whole storyline was the viewer having a vested interest in Michael surviving and being with Sara. I appreciate the whole “anything can happen” attitude but it just left the viewer deflated.
