That being said, Scott Taylor really impressed me. He has the makings of a top prop.

Dan Sarginson looked busy too. He just needs to develop his awareness of what's available outside him.

Because Sarginson has been around for a while it is easy to forget he is only 20, if he keeps improving he could be a fantastic player over the next few years. He played at five-eighth for England Knights when they flogged Samoa so I'd like to see how he goes there at Wigan.

I don't think Wigan's forwards were all that bad against Huddersfield, Taylor, Dudson and Crosby made hard yards but the halves were awful, they hardly ever took the line on.

And thats why i keep banging on about developing young players, did anyone watch Wigan v NZ ? the Wigan youngsters were outstanding, they were really sharp considering they had little preparation.

Unfortunately Hampshire and Sam Powell won't get picked v Sydney Roosters.

Also, who played hooker in 2nd half? Did McIlorum go off?
Thought hooker gave great service and gave Powell time.

Spud, send me a direct message. I may be able to get him a start in the QLD Cup next season or if he wants to come out this year he may have to settle for a level just under NSW Cup which is still fairly competitive and a pathway to higher honours.

well i was talking to his mum,who i work with, last sunday and i got the impression from her that nathan was abit worried about going all that way on his own and i think thats why it fell through...plus his girlfriend, who i also work with, was'nt to pleased that he'd be gone for 6months ....

i spoke to nathan yesterday on facebook and told him to get his arse out there and not to be worried cos i've loads of mates in sydney who'll help and look after him lol..

not sure what level he would have been playing? he's still only 17 so he could play SG ball?....his mum said huddersfield had sorted it all out..with a club, somewhere to stay & a part time job for 6month...another huddersfield lad as already been sent out to australia...i'll find out who it is..
