Proton new sponsor for NRL premiers

The Wests Tigers have announced Malaysian car-maker Proton as their new naming rights sponsor for the next two NRL seasons.



As part of the sponsorship, Tigers players will participate in the Proton Tigers Safe Drive Academy to promote responsible driving by young motorists.

Proton has an option to extend it's association with the premiers for a third year.

I suppose it is a strategic move for Proton, they will sell loads of those cheap shopping trolleys of west. If it was Balmain, they would have used their subsidiary, Lotus as the sponsor.

Um hybrid tiger, i think you may want to re-read my statement:

I think i know what a subsidiary is, after all, i own or am a director of 3 companies, you would be lucky if you are end up vacuuming my office.

Their = Proton
Subsidiary = Lotus
