I know some were advocating the use of lewis at 5/8 but I thing Lang has looked at the big picture in that

a) you have to give guys like russell a go sometime and

b) he wanted consistency in the side. Choosing lewis at 5/8 simply would have meant in the follwing week when origin reps were away again we would have had to find another 5/8 half combination.

Yeah thats exactly right Caged Panther. Im suprised though that Roberts is halfback.

And i thought that Priddis would have got the captaincy but its good to see Big T get a go.

He did alright as 5/8th whilst we had no halves on the field last Sunday! ;-)

I'm surprised Priddis didnt get the nod for the big C. But Big T is inspirational and leads by example. Go T and well done to him for winning that elite role! :clap:

I reckon maybe sometime throughout the match Galea will move from centre into the forwards to give a forward a rest.
Then Howland will come onto the wing and Lewis into the centres.
