I caught the tape of the game today and congrats to you guys for winning the GF replay. I picked against you but you proved me and the rest of my college flat wrong. (bar one)

The backs have been getting plenty of credit but once again I thought the Panthers foward pack stood up magnificently. The guy who kept on running over the Rooster fowards even when they were up and ready in defence was Tony Puletua. I know he got 2nd rower award last year and is an international but I still think he's underrated.

He's better than Morley, Kennedy, Tallis and Lautiti.

Puletua runs out of puff, but has more impact value than any other forward in the game in my honest opinion.

i disagree fibro, in previous years i would have said yeah, but i don't think Puletua is running out of puff as much now. I didn't see him take a backward step in any of his hit-ups on Friday night, he really served it up. Its good to see him finally living up to his potential that we all knew he had.

Him and Galuvao go out hard for about 15-20 min periods and they rest and come back on throughout the 2nd half. I dont know if they are unfit or its just Langs strategy of playing the bench players into the match but it works.

They play about 25-30 minutes usually, and then come on the last 20 and tear it up again.

IMO Tony Puletua is the best 2nd rower in the world bar none.

Remember one of the Tests....not the last one previously played that they won but the one before that. Both T and Joe were called up. Joe only made it on in the end of last half from memory...but I'm sure T nearly played all game....which at the time I thought was quite strange to leave Joe sitting on the bench...or maybe it was just tha Joe was sitting on the bench for most of the game...my memory is failing me.

And in a devastating game for Enzed...T was the standout to, from memory.

Anyway....

I also think is T is sensational and thank god we have him.
