Pulse was a great Pink Floyd album.........Not sure what this thread is actually about though ???

I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic. Just the DVD that any Pink Floyd fan has been waiting years for......

Bought it yesterday, only seen the 1st DVD so far, pretty good quality both vision & sound. Bit disappointed that Shine On was so short, One Of These Days was fantastic though.

After all the delays I was expecting a great product, instead I picked it up for $30 and the price matches the quality in terms of packaging and production/extras. At the end of the day though the actual concert footage is great, comfortably numb in particular is amazing not only for the well known guitar solo (one of if not the best ever IMO) but when the disco ball comes down from the roof and lights up all of Earls Court.

Worth the price alone mate. And IMO it definately is one of the greatest guitar solos of ALL time. ( Loved the guitar solo from The Trooper Iron Maiden as well......;-)

they wouldn't let me have zube, wratchet jaw, f**k knuckle, animal husbandist, undermanager, baby f**kker, trogg, troll or thrombologist. I am now concerned I am making words up and my spell checker isn't detecting it.

what is it the crowd are singing after WYWH? "Ali don't go...?" Some sort of Scottish folk song/english soccer chant? What's the significance?

Just listening to Pulse confirms their best work was done Pre Wall. Some later stuff, Like learning to Fly, is a bit of an embarrassment to the memory of a band who should have called it a day after Animals. IMO.
