And right on queue Thurston comes back & plays like he hasn't missed a game. Sure Parra were sh*t but doesn't this now turn up the interest factor for SOO2? If Qld forwards show some fire it will be a very different game to SOO1.

Origin will be a far huger test for JT than that Parramatta performance. He played well but the Eels totally gave the chasers to his kicks so much space they barely had to do much to score them and they did rattle him. He played well for a comeback game but I don't think he was amazingly good.

Jarrod Wallace officially charged for the shoulder charge. Wonder who will come into contention if he gets done for it, Scott Bolton? Our front row stocks are insanely thin at the moment.

Bit harsh dropping Oates, he did nothing wrong in game 1

neither did boyd really. NSW avoided Boyd with their kicks and wore down Oates.

there were better players for QLD sitting at home in front of the heater for Game 1. bring Slater and Holmes in. Boyd can be shifted into back line. Oates' time will come again.

1. Slater
2. Boyd
3. Chambers
4. Gaigi
5. Holmes

FB: Slater
RW: Gagai
RC: Chambers
LC: Boyd
LW: Holmes

They'll go with this. Gagai has been one of their best in last several matches. It'd be an error to move him from position. Plus his defence is clearly his weakness. Chambers onto the right as he is with Melbourne on same side as Cronk (and opposing Hayne), Boyd into left centre with Thurston and opposing Dugan.
