QOTSA vs Kyuss

Interested to know what the general consensus is. I can't make up my mind, I swing depending on my mood

I can't make up my mind either. I had a huge period where I would listen to QOTSA all the time, and not so with Kyuss but the latest QOTSA album really disappointed me. I don't know. I'll say even.

I'm not really a fan of either, but it appears to me Kyuss are one of those bands that 'Tool' fans say they like even thought they don't actually like them, just to look alternative.

I reckon you hit the nail on the head with that one mate.
Stage III and Deadly kiss on Wretch are some of the meanest riffs ever, not to mention the rest of their albums
