I fear QLD will get rolled, humid as outside and overcast. Bulls batting line up is shaky in good batting conditions. Superb bowling conditions today IMO.

That brings up lunch here at the Gabba. Queensland head in to the break at 1/33 with Townsend 28 n.o and Philipson 5 n.o. Michael Hogan has been the pick of the bowlers so far with 1/9 off 5 overs.

Starting to rain out where I live. (which is about a 20 minute drive to the Gabba).

Rain delay.

Queensland are 1/72 with Wade Townsend on 43 and Craig Philipson on 27.

Hogan pick of the bowlers with figures of 1/23 off 8. Beer bowled two overs which were described as good.

Bulls have slumped to 8/120 with another famous batting collapse.

Michael Hogan (4/41) and Ryan Duffield (3/40) have been the chief destroyers.

Townsend is currently the top scorer for the Bulls with 47, Gannon and Boyce are in with 9 and 7 respectively.

Play looks to resume at 5pm local time.

Over 61.1: Dorey to Boyce, no run, OUT, wow what a great catch!! Boyce stepped forward and creamed a drive straight back at the bowler. Dorey threw out his right hand and the ball stuck! QLD 9/139

Queensland all out for 150.

Second Innings for Queensland and they're currently 1/23 with Broad and Phillipson in.

Here's the Townsend dismissal.

Over 6.1: Duffield to Townsend, no run, OUT, gets across to defend and he's hit on the pad. Big shout for lbw given by Umpire Abood. He was on the crease, looked to be hitting the stumps. QLD 1/13

Queensland are 2/72 with Philipson out for 1, losing his wicket to Hogan.

Lynn (24) and Broad (42) occupy the crease.

Heal, who came into the match mid-way for Beer is currently bowling.

Queensland 6/264.

Young middle order batsmen Chris Lynn just notched up his second Sheffield Shield century in a defiant knock and is currently 132*.

Debutant Neser just fell after sustained pressure with Swan on.

Bulls lead by 83, they need to stick in for a little while longer to save this game.

He's a bright prospect Lynn, give him a few years and he'll be pressing for a spot in the Aussies XI.

Match drawn, Queensland hold on at 7/277 with Lynn (142*) and Boyce (1*) occupying the crease. The middle order all made starts and opener Ryan Broad atoned for his earlier failings with a solid 50.

Dorey was the pick of the bowlers for WA with figures of 3/62, Duffield chipped in with 2/65.

Drawn match, WA claim first innings points.

Really like to see him kick on (just not next game). Lord knows Qld need someone to step up with the bat. Good to see Duffield go ok with another 5 wickets for the game too.

Lynn looks an excellent prospect, he will be ready in 10 years time when he is married and knows his game
