Why is it that the Broncos can attract very high crowds, yet Sydney clubs like Bulldogs, Wests Tigers and South Sydney that play games at Telstra Stadium (about 1.5x the capacity of Suncorp) can't attract high crowds on the same basis that the Broncos do? Like, what makes the Broncos so much more popular than the Sydney sides?
Also, why did the Broncos move from Suncorp Stadium to ANZ Stadium, and then back to Suncorp Stadium? They averaged 43,000 in their first season at ANZ Stadium in 1993 and apparently, ANZ was a much worse rugby league venue than Suncorp (those who've attended games at both ANZ and Suncorp should know the answer). However, by 2002/2003, that number had decreased quite substantially.
Finally, will they increase the capacity of Suncorp in the future? I'd say it should be increased to 60,000.
