Tickets go on sale the Monday before each game ... I think Ticketec do the finals but not 100% sure (Been a while ;-) grr Richmond lol) .... You won't be able to buy tix until the Wednesday of the game if not a member of a competing club ... But none of the games will sell out by the Wednesday.
The Essendon V Richmond Qualifying Final of 2001 still had tickets on the Friday ... The likes of North Melbourne/Footscray are not going to sell out the MCG, Especially if playing an interstater.
You won't get a ticket to the Grand Final unless you are a sponsor, government official or a member of a competing club (If you are extremely lucky) or alternatively you can pay $1500 to a scalper.
If you do attend a game, you wouldn't regret it. Nothing beats the atmosphere of a Footy Final at the home of Australian Sport.
