Don't think so. He struggled with defence as a 5/8th so I imagine as a hooker he'd be useless.

Yep I'm pretty sure he never played anything but 5/8!

In fact defending at hooker you find you can hide a defensive weakness due to the fact that the forwards are closer together and help each other out. However at 5/8, you are found more easily as it is more one on one as the defenders are more spaced out.
